USHLI Student Leadership Summit
Presented By McDonald's
To continue being part of the solution to close the education gap for Hispanic students in the U.S., McDonald’s has partnered with the United States Hispanic Leadership Institute (USHLI)
for the fifth consecutive year to present the USHLI Student Leadership Summit. The Summit, part of
USHLI’s 2017 Student Leadership Series, brings motivational speakers and educational resources to high schools in ten cities across the country.
This year’s educational initiative will also include a private USHLI Student Leadership Summit media workshop in New York for HCM and GCM media to get a first-hand experience of the tour. Media will be able to capture content onsite and interview available spokespeople.
To generate media interest and strengthen the education narrative, McDonald’s will partner with non-profit and federal initiatives that support Hispanic communities by preparing students for postsecondary education. These organizations and their students will be invited to attend the private media workshop in New York for the full USHLI Student Leadership Summit experience, including the McDonald’s Study Lounge and presentations from USHLI and CoolSpeak.
With these initiatives, the brand aims to motivate students and their parents and inform them of available resources, such as the HACER® National Scholarship
